The location is fantastic, close to shops and attractions. Room was clean and comfy, and the staff was friendly. On the downside, the gym facilities were underwhelming. Bicycle rental is available, which was a nice touch.

Comfortable room, comfortable bathroom with a large walk-in shower and instantly warm water that was a delightful treat after a day of exploring.

Excellent location, perfect for the tourist in all of us. Clean, chic hotel, with an impressive lobby that sets the tone. The bed? Exceptionally comfortable—a key element for any good night's sleep. room size was subpar, lacking adequate storage and privacy. The bathroom door was a design oversight, impacting comfort. Noise from nearby generators was disruptive, despite my requests for a quieter room. Valet staff were the friendliest, making check-in during a storm seamless. The eatery next door had great food, but the bar didn't match expectations. Rates reflect prime location, though the experience didn’t fully justify the price. Room for improvement, but still worth considering for a city visit.

I really enjoyed how easy it was to explore the city since everything is almost within a short walk, like the Boston Common and the iconic Faneuil Hall Marketplace just a kilometer away, plus there are great restaurants nearby like Legal Crossing and Boston Chops less than a five-minute stroll. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were friendly, but the room's air conditioning didn't really keep up with my comfort level.

I felt like a fancy globe-trotter with Nikkei cuisine at RUKA, surrounded by the wealth and history of Harvard University. The Lobby Bar was posh, and exploring the bustling market gave me a taste of city life.

What a cool spot! Loved being just a hop, skip, and jump from the Brattle bookstore and Boston Common park – total hidden gems nearby! The comfy room was perfect for us two, but it might get cozy with little ones. A smooth drive to Salem for a fun day out was a blast, already planning a return trip.
Not a huge fan of the bed discrepancy - left soft, right firm. the TV streaming situation was a bit wonky, felt like someone was playing tricks.

After an initial lapse in cleaning, I learned that tips matter here. The view from higher floors didn’t impress, despite an attempted upgrade, but I'd gladly return for the location and vibe.

The corner view was excellent, though we faced significant noise issues from nearby trash pickups and party events. The room temperature was difficult to manage, staying cold despite adjusting the heat. Wi-Fi worked well for emails and meetings. Complimentary coffee, cake, and water bottles were nice touches, even if the layout and noise affected overall tranquility.

Check-in was a nightmare. The staff were unhelpful and seemed disinterested. After a long drive, we had to haul our luggage ourselves without any assistance. To top it off, valet was closed and parking became a hassle in an unfamiliar city.

Had a good xmas getaway with pleasant staff and daily room service. The key location was downtown, only a 3-minute walk to the station, ideal for exploring the city's attractions. The room and toilet were clean, and the Wi-Fi connection was reliable.

The location was super convenient, being close to the subway and Boston Common. The room itself was clean and spacious, which I really appreciated. the staff were friendly and accommodating. I also loved that there was a great coffee spot right in the lobby area - perfect for starting the day off right! there were a few things that could have been better. The noise from the street and surrounding buildings' ventilation systems was a bit bothersome at times. the lack of communication from the staff was a letdown - from not informing about early morning trash pick-ups to not following through on promised credits for inconveniences. I also found the lack of in-room amenities like an ice maker and mini-fridge a bit inconvenient. The issue with the TV not working for two days was a bit frustrating as well.

The Godfrey Hotel Boston has an excellent location, perfect for exploring Boston on foot. We enjoyed walking on the Freedom Trail and visiting the Boston Commons. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, providing us with great recommendations for local restaurants and helping us book transportation as low-budget travelers. The hotel had convenient amenities, such as a coffee shop, and the room was clean and comfortable, with a big TV and nice shower. The WiFi worked well most of the time, although it did slow down occasionally. We would definitely stay here again for the great service we received.
The start was slightly bumpy as there was a glitch with our reservation upon arrival, but the staff quickly resolved it and found us a room. One downside was the uncomfortable mattress in our room, which felt like a waterbed filled with flour and lacked support.

stayed at godfrey hotel for our wedding night, and it was amazing! the staff were so kind and friendly, and the hotel itself is beautiful and cozy. the location is perfect, near several attractions and good shopping. the room service was efficient and the food was delicious. overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience, just what we needed for our special night.

the godfrey hotel was perfect. big - clean room and perfect central location. the staff gave great local tips and the doormen were polite. loved the complimentary snacks in the room and free bicycles for guests. everything was just perfect!
